Innovation Design Manufacturing

Allied Enterprises is a manufacturer of metal components and parts which is in the process of transforming its image from a traditional manufacturing company to a more solution focused and innovative one. The company is specialized mostly in manufacturing parts with sheet metal made of steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Its customers range from small to large size businesses. The company has been in business for over 40 years. Its strategy is to maintain and expand its business with its current customers which operate in the specialty vehicule assembly business, hvac, people mobility, electronics, marine and construction industries to name a few. The second component of its strategy is also to emphasize its value added services in terms of design and engineering capabilities for its current and prospective customers. The third main element is to act as a partner to younger companies which have developped innovative products and need design, engineering, manufacturing and distribution help for their products.


In a nutshell, the logo needs to convey a sense of stability and stength but also with a certain amount of modernity and technology orientation but nothing which is too flashy.


It should be crisp, clean and not cluttered. Should work well on a website, social media and promotional material. We have no problems with somewhat vibrant colors but we would stay away from red. The second part of this project will be a fully coded website. So this first contest has for objective to have the most creative work possible in terms of logo design but it will be a small advantage for the designers which have the website design and coding capabilities. We need both the french and english versions of the log
